How to Use the Estimate Worksheet
Creating a Project type Estimate Worksheet without Blueprints:
You can create a project without uploading any plans or image files.
Step 1: From the Dashboard or Project Management, select “Create New Project”.
Step 2: Fill out the project properties, select the project type “Estimate Worksheet without Blueprints” and Save.
2.Adding Groups, Assemblies and Parts:
Across the top of your Estimate Worksheet you will see Group, Assembly and Part. Groups can be added to organize the estimate worksheet. Assemblies and Parts can be sourced from the templates library or added from scratch.
Step 1: Select “Add Group” to name and save a group.
Step 2: Select “Add Assembly” search the templates library or create an assembly from scratch, and save.
Step 3: Select “Add Part” to search the parts catalog or create a part from scratch, and save.
3. Editing the Estimate Worksheet:
The Groups, Assemblies and Parts can be edited directly within the worksheet.
Step 1: Use the Edit button to make changes to Groups, Assemblies and Parts.
Step 2: Use the “fx” formula button to make changes to the QTY and other part properties.
4. Reporting from the Estimate Worksheet:
The assemblies we apply to the estimate worksheet will inform the Reports.
Step 1: Select “Reports” to the right of “Estimate at the top of your worksheet.
Step 2: Select your preferred grouping structure from the drop down on the top right.
Step 3: Export your report to Excel or generate the Invoice Report from the button on the upper left.
Common Questions
Can I combine the estimate worksheet with project that do have a plan?
This will become a capability in future iterations of the Estimate Worksheet.
