1. Select the Appropriate Template
Open the Templates menu.
The Starter Package includes:
Footings
Select the material type that matches your project.
2. Measure the footings
The Starter Package includes multiple aggregate options. Form work, Footings, and Poured Walls are all measured the same and operate relatively the same. Let’s focus on Form Work> Footings Forms.
To begin:
Select the desired template
Click the green arrow to proceed.
The initial setup page is preconfigured for you.
Click Save and Go to Parts.
Adjust settings as needed:
Modify any part properties.
Enter material costs, markup, and adjust waste percentage if applicable.
4. Perform the Takeoff
Click Save and Close to activate the measuring tool.
Click around the perimeter of each area you want to measure.
Double-click to complete an area.
Continue measuring additional areas as needed.
To finish:
Press the Esc key or click Stop to end the measurement.

Concrete Slab

2. Measure Concrete Slab
The Starter Package includes multiple aggregate options. All aggregates are measured the same way and very similar to concrete slab and concrete walkways.
To begin:
Select the desired aggregate template.
Click the green arrow to proceed.
The initial setup page is preconfigured for you.
Click Save and Go to Parts.
Adjust settings as needed:
Modify depth (in inches) by clicking the + icon next to the field.
Enter material costs, markup, and adjust waste percentage if applicable.
4. Perform the Takeoff
Click Save and Close to activate the measuring tool.
Click around the perimeter of each area you want to measure.
Double-click to complete an area.
Continue measuring additional areas as needed.
To finish:
Press the Esc key or click Stop to end the measurement.
