What is Page Overlay?
The "Page Overlay" tool allows you to overlay one page on top of another, which is crucial for construction takeoffs, especially when dealing with revisions. By using this tool, you can compare different versions of a plan side by side, ensuring that any changes or updates are easily identifiable. This helps streamline the process of identifying discrepancies, updates, or modifications between plan revisions, making it easier to manage and track changes throughout the project.

Page Overlay Pro Tips:
The Overlay is expressed as a layer, you can hide and adjust this layer similar to measurements / assemblies within a page
Zoom in really close to the plan and move the overlay to align with the existing plan measurements as accurately as possible. This makes the overlay easier to understand. This is particularly important for the comparative overlay.
The Page Overlay can be resized (stretched) if the overlay is not the same size as the main page. Simply click on the overlay in the plan and find the blue dots in the corner of the overlay.
